My interests range across diverse genres. Though trained classically, recent compositions and performances include jazz/classical hybrids with the quintet, Bipolar, as well as sound experiments in electronica and pop vocals. And my most recent release is The French Suite Kit, vol. 4, for solo piano: an exploration of alternate versions and interpretations of Bach’s fourth French Suite in E-flat major.
I was born in the North American Midwest, studying classical piano performance with Richard Reber and jazz theory with Jack Carraher at the University of Kansas.
Current composition projects include my first String Quartet, a chamber symphony, and a new album of jazz originals, this latter in production and slated for summer 2019 release. Classical recordings in queue include an entry in the ever-popular Scarlatti sweepstakes, as well as the next volume in The French Suite Kit series which will be, somewhat paradoxically, volume 1.
